I've been seeing this all over the MB, Just in case no one knows how to clean there mats. The first thing I do is clean it with Generic Alcohol with a washcloth. Let that dry for about 5 mins. Then tape all the way around the edges with masking tape very cheap one. Make sure to get where your roller bars goes over mat on the cricut. I do mine right up to the line where you put your cardstock onto the mat. Then I take the mat to my sunporch well vented area. Then I spray it with this Krylon make sure to spray evenly and waite for about an hour or two then TA DA very sticky again.

Thanks so much for posting
Yor Welcome, I've been doing this for years I got sick and tired of always buying mats. And it really works as a matter of fact I keep the mats until I can see daylight threw the mats lol I tend to cut my mats alot.
thanks will for sure get some then. Where do you get the spray?
I get the spray at Hobby Lobby and I use a 40% off coupon, It's almost $8.00 without it. But the spray will last a very long time.
Thanks so much!
Your welcome if you have any questions just ask.
Is the picture of the adhesive the EXACT product you use? I've tried this spray, but it's not as tacky as the original glue? In fact, my paper will come off while cutting and I waste paper because I have to use tape to hold down another piece of paper while cutting again???
